Akihabara at night

Tokyo’s electronic district is one of my favorite places in Japan. For several blocks down the main street, it’s a sea of anime and electronic megastores. I think that Akihabara is beautiful in the daytime, especially on Sunday when they block off the traffic so you can wander around gazing dreamily up at everything without the risk of getting run over. Unfortunately, all businesses shut down around 7pm, but I still think it’s lovely walking the streets of Akihabara at night.
