I’m in a good holiday mood…which will probably be destroyed after some meetings tomorrow if I don’t get programming at a faster rate…
Anyway, I made some calls this morning to my parents and friends to wish them a Merry Christmas, but I almost said Happy Christmas a few times. I’ve been in this melting pot so long, I can’t remember how to say anything the way I used to. And passing a sign in Omiya the other day, I realized the Japanese are probably more confused than I am.
The sign read, ‘Happy Merry Christmas!!’ I walked away with a smile on my face.
